A Special Letter from a Guest

Last January, Jessee Chan from Singapore stayed at Natura Vista with her boyfriend.  The warm and friendly couple really took some time to walk around the village and meet the locals instead of just staying inside the Natura Vista facility.  A few weeks ago, we received this very thoughtful email from Jessee:
Hi Quennie,
Hi How is everyone at Natura Vista?
I sent a parcel by Singapore Post on 12 th Feb 2012.
Inside there are some clothing and biscuits.
Please help me to give away to the villages near your Natura Vista, especiallythe family with 6 children,  including your 3 friendly and helpful staffs.
The biscuits to your staff who cook nice breakfast and dinner for us and the family with 6 children.
You can find your Natura Vista at the Trip advisor there now.
Wish you all the best.
Have a nice day.
Jessee

We were really touched to receive this email.  While Bohol is one of the most beautiful places in the Philippines, we cannot deny the fact the most of the people in the province are still very poor, even in a tourist infested area like Panglao Island.  The barangays here are usually made up of large families relying on the fishing or tourism industry.  We're always happy to meet socially-aware and compassionate tourists like Jessee who takes an extra effort to connect with the locals.  We do believe that in a way, this can make their vacation more meaningful and special.
